Black Lion offers armed and unarmed security based on the clients needs.  The officer(s) assigned watch for irregularities such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contacts emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required. The officer will remains alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate. They patrol assigned area on foot or in motor vehicle, as assigned, to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.  Examines doors, windows, and gates to ensure security; uses client keys to open and close buildings; monitors closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activities. Prepares routine, standardized reports. Provides escorts as necessary.
The Black Lion mobile patrol is available as bicycle, cart, and vehicle. The officer assigned may be armed or unarmed depending on the client’s needs. Mobile patrol security officers provide their clients with the peace of mind of knowing their property is being secured. The client is placing his trust in the officer to deter unwanted activities and secure his property. The quality of this important service is enhanced through the consistent application of best practices, which are expressed as a set of duties to which the officer adheres. The officers assigned to the BLS mobile division receive additional training specific to the type of patrol and mobile safety training.
Black Lion offers civil process services to those clients needing such services. Civil process services includes receiving and preparing various forms of legal documents for service of process. Transfers incorrectly assigned papers, and documents the transfer of such accordingly. Locates persons on available information and attempts to obtain correct addresses. Receives assigned papers and develops route schedule in a manner conducive to time and economic efficiency. Serves various types of writs in accordance with State Statutes concerning classification of writ, i.e., juvenile, corporate, court orders, mental health, small claims.
Black Lion offers personnel trained in the often arduous task of continually monitoring a client’s CCTV system. The CCTV personnel are properly trained in what specifically to look for when performing this service.
BLS has the ability to respond to your location and after a careful screening of the location offer insight into the areas of the facility most vulnerable to threats. After this assessment, BLS will offer advice and a step by step process to ensure that your location is as safe as possible from most known threats or risks. The outputs of this process inform a variety of emergency management efforts, including: emergency operations planning, mutual aid agreements, and hazard mitigation planning. Ultimately, this process helps clients answer the following questions: What actions could be employed to avoid, divert, lessen, or eliminate a threat or hazard?
Black Lion Security also provides commercial cleaning services to a variety of businesses, such as large office buildings, schools, churches, etc. We will work with you to set up a cleaning schedule that works for your business, whether it's overnight cleaning or cleaning during the day. Daily, weekly, or even monthly schedules are available. Make sure your work environment is clean so you can provide a healthy workspace for employees and a spotless environment for customers and clients
  • Assigned BLS Representatives will adhere to both the rigid BLS standard operating procedure and the client’s guidelines.
  • A high degree of visibility by the assigned BLS Representative in full company approved uniform.
  • All assigned BLS Representatives will comply with requests made by authorized personnel.
  • BLS Representatives will at all times be in compliance with T.C.A. 29.106.2, the laws governing both armed and unarmed security officers.
  • A daily summary of the assigned BLS Representatives’ activity will be provided upon the conclusion of each shift.
  • 24-hour availability of the BLS Administrative Staff.
  • Company owned cell phones at all locations serviced by BLS; allowing ready communication between the assigned BLS Representative and not only the BLS Administration but the client as well.
